Reading Guide for Mom and Dad:
Jesus destroyed the enemy on the Cross. Jesus destroyed the one that had the power of death (Hebrews 2:14). When Jesus became flesh and blood, just like the children were flesh and blood, it says that Jesus destroyed the devil who had the power of death. So Jesus destroyed the enemy. The enemy was crushed under His feet at the Cross.
That leaves us with the question: what about Romans chapter 16:20 when Paul says: "And the God of peace will crush Satan underneath your feet shortly (soon)"?
It's not something else that God is going to do. But as soon as the Romans get the revelation of the Finished Work of the Cross, then Satan will be in his place - underneath their feet.
It is the same for us as well. Either we are under his feet or he is under our feet. When we realize what Jesus did on the Cross, then we put Satan in his place: which is under our feet. Satan has no authority, Jesus said "ALL AUTHORITY in heaven and on earth is given unto Me" (Matthew 28:18), so if Jesus has all authority then the devil has no authority. Except that which we give him. Sometimes we give him credit and we are helping the devil by giving him authority.
Everything is completely dealt with at the Cross!
Conversation Starters with the little ones:
Let's look at Ephesians 1:22: And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
If Jesus is the head and we are the body, where are the feet? We are the feet. The bride of Christ is the body and the feet are part of the body.
Where is the enemy? Under the feet of Jesus. If we are "IN CHRIST" then the enemy is under our feet also by the finished work of the Cross.

Teach them to Rule and Multiply:
Write a few words down on colored paper: sickness, lack, poverty, depression, death. We took some bubble wrap and laid it out on the grass. Put the colored paper under the bubble wrap. Now have fun stepping on the bubble wrap with your bare feet. Join in the fun with your little ones and talk to them about what it means to be "IN CHRIST". We will look at divine health, true biblical prosperity, a life of adequacy, and what it means to be IN CHRIST in more detail over the next few weeks.
Kettle Prayer suggestions:
This week I would like to encourage you to pray the prayer from Ephesians 1 over your little ones. Pray this every day for the next 14 days, you can even try to memorize the prayer for wisdom and revelation. God can do far above what we ask or think, even in the hearts of our children:
Ephesians 1: 17-21 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
